I started my pirate costume for my birthday~ I stopped because Alice came online XD and i wanted to check pupe. And I got the freaking handbag I wanted!!!!!! 999ribbons. But I bet it will go down some more coming up to Halloween's event. Fortunately I have not exauhsted my postable items also we have 50 comment ribbons instead of twenty. I'm guessing that the fifty comment ribbons ends the day before the Halloween event begins so I still have time to build up my ribbons again. Like I did to get them bag. It makes me confident in my abilities to harvest ribbons~ as it were.
6 days till Fable 2 comes out. And will probably have a full day and be unable to play it or even watch Lachie so I can learn how to play it.
12 days till my birthday. I'm going to be nineteen. Wtf.
14 days till my party. I have to budget well and hope that it doesn't eat to much into my savings.
43 days till PERTH! Goddamit yes! Still gotta put some money aside for that too.
And not next week but the week after begins the 'Grand Japan Tour of 2010' saving scheme. $100p/w saved is $5200 by next birthday. Then I'll be so close to going to Japan, I'll be saving every single penny I get to go shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is all, continue about your business~<3

Well it is unfortunate, really. Since we jsut ordered a pair of RHS for Alice.
We also finally go our Anna House stuff a few weeks ago. I'm glad but it just took so increddibly long and in the end we paid their banks fees for the transfer. And paid for a trace to find out that they had 1300HKD of the 1500HKD. But whatever.
Currently stalking the furima on pupe, must find VDay event items. I think I may end up buying a few more ribbons, is that insane?
Going to the post office today to get/send a money order to the seller of a MatsuJun MInimee. So fecking excited.
Then we wait till we get the invoice for the Miku Minimee group order. Miku Doll FTW. So I should get MJ in the next few weeks and Miku in the next couple of months. Then after christmas and the scooter and all the other bits and pieces I can start working on getting them bodies and eyes and wigs etc.
Such fun~<3

The good news is the RHS fit, a little lose with stockings but fine with socks. The jumperskirt I was talking about last entry is also here, and it's gorgeous. I do love it. But I think I love my Baby one more, the AP one is all eyelet lace and I'm completely in love with the cotton lace on my Baby jumper.
And my penpal sent me some gorgeous little flower hairclips and the prettiest sparkliest princessiest tiara a lolita could ever ask for. I do so adore it to the ends of the earth.
My other little crafty adventures have suffered a set back, on top of the work everyday, bus everyday, wash dishes everyday (I seriously considered bying a dish washer this week but I'll explain why I didn't later) I have started playing World of Warcraft again. <3 I'm enjoying it more now because Sprout is almost always on to play or talk with me and even just listening to the guys on vent makes it a little more interactive, I think. It's a bit lonely on your own. Plus the guys on vent are hilarious, if not slightly perverted and not used to female company.
In other news, I have won the war. I have been given thy mothers blessing to get my bike license. I'm gonna get me a scooter. I've chosen the Vespa GT200, not sure what colour. I want to buy it new, so it'll be about $8000. Not including getting the license and some gear to keep me warm. I plan to save about $3k (or $4k if I get most of my tax back) and getting a loan so I can have it sooner. So long waiting for a bus! Which is why I'm not getting a dishwasher any times soon. Cause on top of that I gotta pay for the tickets to Perth. Because I love my Perth buddies, yes, yes I do. Which reminds me, I better let them know I'm coming XD
Hopefully our Annahouse stuff gets sorted out before Avcon, or I'm going to cry because it's not just me who will suffer it's Mos as well. I really hate Annahouse and Telegraphic transfers right now. Telegraphic transfers for being so difficult. Annahouse because they might turna round and tell me that I haven't paid them enough because their bank takes out fees. The fuckers. Oh well back to waiting and playing WoW and well washign dishes T.T

But it's all in Annahouses hands now, I just want my dammned blouse and petti in time for AVcon!!
Otherwise I have a new Jumperskirt on it's way to me. It's a beautiful AP one and will be one of my last purchases for the next, oh month or something.
Aside from the plane tickets. . . . . Ok so the saving thing isn't working, Oh well :D
Only thing with the socks is that they are more of an offwhite than a white, but I don't think it affects it too much, they looked fine when I put them on with my dress today.
I've started to make some little things as well. So it's only a cake hair piece so far, I've got some designs I want to make real. So they are really jsut prototypes at the moment, but we shall see where it takes us!! I mean I could be completely useless at this.
Otherwise, I have dishes to wash, a felt cake to finish and a cold to put up with.

From this week on I will:
Catch up my savings to the amount they should be ($500 this week, $600 the next etc.)
Only spend what is not being saved, not the savings.
Only buy food when I have not been given warning of a long shift or when I work for eight hours.
Eat Sugar Free Sweets (Excepting the sweets I already have)
Eat Rice Crackers instead of chips.
Eat Apples instead of sweets.
Buy some new things for Ki
Buy the wood for a new table
Keep my room clean
Wash the dishes on time
And there may be more later. I don't want to do impossible things I just want to get myself sorted out before I or If I'm going to make any other changes.
The bloomers will be the last thing for a few weeks, then it's the new Jumper Skirt and some things for Ki.
At the moment I'm also working on uploading all of the photo's from Baby onto a photobucket, I'm halfway through the cutsews. So it'll take a while, but once I've got them all up, I'll start organising them on a website for easy navigation. Hopefuly I'll be able to archive them for a while, but I want to go through AP next, but this is going to take longer than I intended it too.
Arashi Dream-A-Live t-shirt and MatsuJun pictures to arrive soon ~<3
I really must slow down or limit my spending properly, who knows a really cute new Jumper Skirt could come out soon, I should be ready to get it when it does. Atm I'm really hoping that the Reserve Jumper Skirt for the 'Cutest Puppy in the World and the Cutest Strawberry Crepe Print' (it's something long like that) might come up in Pink on Y!J, cause that is one awesomely cute print.
I'm thirst though, so I think I'll go get a drink, watch the rest of the third episode of Sexy Voice and Robo (because Matsuyama Kenichi is just gorgeous~!) and then go to bed. I'm looking foward to AVcon. Actually Right now I'm looking foward to next week. Mainly Sunday, I can't wait to have Chinese.

So I haven't posted on here of deviantart in quite a while. Its a bit upsetting, ne? This weeks going to be fun!
The Arashi Dream-A-Live Tour Shirt will be sent this weekend and should be here next week. My Pink Baby Bunny Bag should also be here sometime this week. Of course after I've paid for and ordered it, it shows up on Y!J for half the price! But I don't care cause I really wanted it.
Still waiting for the Gothic and Lolita Bible 29 to come up on yesasia.com, where we get free shipping and ten to twenty $$ less than if I bought it elsewhere.
And I got my gorgeous Pink DS Lite off Layby last week and have been playing PKMN Pearl in my spare time. I love it, but I want to get Cooking Mama for it too.
Just sent the Annahouse order last night. So We'll have that in a couple of weeks two. Now I jsut need to get together some things for another outfit. I'm not sure i want to be wearing the same outfit over the two days at AVcon, so we'll see what I can do over the next couple of months.
Decided on Ling_lam RHS, White, will be ordering those next week. Hopefully, I have to fill up my savings again cause I think I dipped too far into them ^_^'
Enjoy the rest of your week.

Friday 21st September
Our holiday begins on a night like any other only, I stayed up all ngith finishing of a homework piece that probably should have been done well before it was done. I am proud to say that I did not sleep at all, though I sleep beautifully on the plane. Though not as much as I would have wished seen as I still remember that it was a long flight. Compared to the one back it seemed really long. But maybe thats because on both the plane to Sydney and the plane to Tokyo I had to sit next to Brok. WHo happened to be in the window seat. Yay. Mr Mc Fidget or what. Together we annoyed the fuck out of the poor guy who had to sit in the aisle.
We arrived in Tokyo about maybe 6ish, got a bus to our hotel, ate. At the bus my teacher had me in tears when I made a joke and she thought I was being serious. There were another lot of school kids from some private school in Adelaide who were the most annoying, frustrating twats. Dinner was good, Simon, Kelly, Jords and I shared a table. Simon got his Pork cutlets, Kelly had a BLT and Jords and I shared a vegetable curry and apple danish. Which were both delicious.
I shareda room with Beccy because I got to chose because I was a tired, confused emotional wreck. It was the Narita airport hotel and was really nice. Beds were clean, surfaces were clean, lighting was decent bathroom was sizeable. You'll understand why this is important later and if you don't then your just a bit silly now aren't you?
Saturday 22nd September
Woke up early, can't remember what time, might have been about 7 maybe 8. Second latest sleep in on the entire trip. [saved the journal by posting it so that she didn't lose it all, cry and give a half arsed account.] Checked out and gave them our green coins, so that they donated some money ot some environmental group. I liked the idea, i think it was cute. Should have taken the hair brush though as I realised I'd forgotten it.
Now when we caught the domestic flight to Osaka I only had my hand luggage sized suitcase and my makeup bag that was far from having makeup in it.
Flight was super short and I was so thankful. SO very thankful. I htink I slept on that flight too :S cannot remember. Its about now that I lost all concept of time. I didnt have to wake myself up or look at a clock until Disney Land the day before we left.
We arrived in Osaka and caught the train then walked to our hotel. Shared a room with Shawnee this time. Rooms werent that impressive, and Jordy and Clare found a lizard in theirs. OUrs was good. We were allowed to go into a grocery store. Thats when i got a good portion of the lollies i brought back with me. A very good portion, in fact I htink the makeup back ended up full of japanese sweets. I missed out on bring back some last year so I made sure i got as many as a could as often as i could this time.
Once we put our bags in however, we went out for a bit of a tour. We went to Osaka Castle was freaking hot and the walk knocked most of us outonce we got to the top. We did the tour of museum in the castle backwards then did some tourist shopping on the top floor. The teachers from Ikeda were there Noble-san started off with about five of us and got to the top and only had one. He's 'gonna be a great parent' in his own words lol. He and the other english speaking english teacher John were Americans, needless to say the Australian students in my group at any rate gave Noble a bit of a hard time. But he gave as good as he got.
Got back to the hotel did the grocery shopping, went back to the hotel and sata round talking with Bec and Shawnees Mum who also came with us. Finally went to bed quite late, remember lost all concept of time.
Sunday 23rd September [updated 12 Oct 07]
Meet your host family day! Everyone got up for breakfast at probably some awfully silly time and we all ate and Bec surprised me by eating salmon, both hers and mine, and I wondered over the funny fruit that looked like a grape but was peeled. Turns out it was a grape btw, but it took me the whole trip to figure it out. So we finished our meal, I ate both mine and Becs poached eggs and went up to get our bags and brush our teeth if we hadnt done so already. When we all arrived down stairs we piled our suitcases into the teachers cars and got ready for our long ass walk to the train station. Of course we weren't ready for the one after the train station. The one up THE hill, to Ikdea. After sweltering in the heat and finding that any preperation to make ourselves look presentable was gone, we met our host famillies after being welcomed by the school. Luckily Sachiko, one of our previous homestays was there, because my host family wasn't. It was easy to forgive them though when they drove me down the hill. And took my suitcase for me. And made me a delicious lunch (never eaten so many eggs in one day, it cant be good for you, can it?). Then let you watch any film you like (Howls Moving Castle) in any language you like while letting you fall alseep on the floor in front of said film. Then waking briefly to find your host mother wrapping you in blankets even though you feel like your about to melt into the pillow. Btw my host family were totally awesome and they pwn joo too. Chihiro and I made cookies that day too, but I think that was before I fell asleep. They were very delicious cookies too. (Note: only using cookie because buscuit is too difficult to spell continually, I actually think I just spelt it wrong anyway.)
Later , before dark, we got on our bikes (I was very shaky, the cars and people were very close to me and I hadn't been on a bike in a very long time, though it felt easier to control when we were going faster rather than slower. We went to hundred yen shop and also a snack shop. Ie. more lollies. I also bought a huge 500ml can of grape fanta for Simon. I didn't think he had seen one that big before.
When I finally got to bed, I had made cookies, already slept, had a shower in a Japanese bathroom (meaning water everywhere) and played two rounds of Mario Party 1 against Chihiro. I slept well fed and soundly, well I think I slept soundly, though it was a very hot night and I dont like sleeping without a blanket.
Monday 24th September
Monday! First day of School!! What's that? Public holiday? Trust Australians to come overseas to experience culture and join in at school most specifically, on a public holiday.
We went to USJ. And it rocked, yes it did. I took photos of everything you were meant to have your photo taken with, and I took photos of the Australia on the big universal globe. But I also wore a bad shirt which I know realise after looking at the photos.
We went on: the hollywood one (which was probably the best), the spiderman one, the back to the future one, the jurassic park one and we saw the play with all the huge exploding things. Also went on the Jaws one. The wait was long at almost all of them but it was also shorter because Tsukasa, my homestay brother, would run ahead of us so that we could stroll along, then when we got there we were, by some odd rule, allowed to cut in and catch up with him, which could take half the queue out. I got spoilt rotten by my home stay family, my Okasan bought me a braclet, the type that you slide the latters onto a buckle. Its pink and has my name and a Snoopy and Woodstock figure on either side of it. Chihiro bought me a Snoopy tin with what I have found out are the greatest chocolates in the entire world. And it comes in a beautiful black and purple tin. Tsukasa bought me a Hello Kitty pocket/keychain watch, which not only was super cute but also proved helpful when I finally remembered to take it with me to Disney Land on the Second last day of the trip. I also got a bag of lollies from Oz Land and an awesome Pumpkin jar that HAD some very delicious caramel popcorn, but know houses some of the sweets I bought back from Japan. Hey at least it means I wont spend the money I want to save to go back on Australian sweets in the afternoon or at school. I aslo bought a couple of gifts, Yos's was one of them. Which means that his Jurassic Park glass travelled from Osaka, to Hiroshima, back to Osaka then onto Tokyo and also across the Pacific? to Sydney until it finally touched down in Adelaide and survived.
Before we went home, we went to have Sukiyaki? maybe, but it was very loud and had lots of kebabs which were quite nice. It was fun sharing such a meal with all of my host family, as we met Otosan there. We caught the train home. I had the massivest USJ bag which Id already hit at least three different people with.
When we got home I was wiped. I think I slept very well, even if it was a hot night again.

Hooray! First Journal!
Though I wish I had the ability to edit it further, but I don't so I won't dwell. I think for this first post I shall type a little about me.
My name is Lindzi, and I am spelt differently, as our customers so often point out (I work at a Coles). Although I don't actually have a proper name badge and am called 'Jodie' but maybe I should be thankful - less people commenting on my name.
On another note, I will turn 18 this year though I am not sure this is a blessing or a curse. Luckily I will have my childish spirit and Lolita-ness to keep me feeling young! Not that 18 is old it's just so increddibly adult-like. Kind of freaky. I'll also have never had an illegal drink as well, and I don't think I'll feel the need to have one immediately after or on my birthday - though numerous people insist on getting me drunk, I don't really want to.
I am also, an Australian. A South Western Australian (I live in South Australia and have done so for the past almost four years however I consider myself to be a Western Australian still, particularly with some of the queer lingo of SA). I've also adopted Japan as my second home. We've had numerous students stay with us through the exchange programme with our sister school and this year I will be going in September for the second time. Last time I was able to stay with the family of one of our host students. I had so much fun and it was absolutly awesome to meet all the new people and re-aquaint with my old friends.
Not to mention Disney Land! We'll get to stay longer at the school this time, which I am really looking foward too. That and this time three of my friends will be coming as well. Which will be absolutly grand.
As for what else I like to do I absolutly love CLAMP but I only have few volumes of Tsubasa and Chobits, all my money has been saving for Japan. After which I want to save for a Bluefairy Emilie. Somewhere in there I'll be budgeting for a new wardrobe and a nice tea set. Right now I am putting together a book of recipes and other pieces to make a book on A Lolita Tea Party - one of which I hope to host in the near future. Of course that will involve cleaning the house but that will have to come after cleaning my room.
Which brings me to another point. I love to bake and cook. Unfortunately our kitchen is miniscule and I have no bench space especially when I haven't been able to do the dishes - there isnt actually space on or in the sink for dishes, the kitchen in my opinion was horribly planned. But never-the-less I think I am doing best in Food and Hospitality at school and once I have actually finished and begun drafting my first Art Practical and Theory work that grade will pick up too.
I'm in my last year of school, year 12. FInally top of the school and constantly reminded of it, through little fault of my own. We have our formal coming up in August which I am really excited about as I'll be making my dress. It is pink, has a princess line bodice and a puffy three layer skirt thats short at the front and long in the back. I'm sitll undecided about my hair, sometimes I just want to chop it all off and other times I want to grow it some more and get it curled. Unfortunately its been blonde and it probably wouldn't hold out against anything as extreme as a perm.
Well that's quite a lot about me. It just occured to me that my layout has a cat and my mood pixels are mice.
My GothLoli friend has invited me to a Lolita meet in Adelaide sometimes soon. I'm a little worried about going, I might look very stupid >.< but hopefully if I can find a pink low cut knit vest ot go over my very romantic poet pirate style shirt then I may be able to pull off a convincing casual lolita. At least I'll have my beloved cherry TUK's, they're the white ones. Well we'll see how it goes.
